The Anglican Churches in Brantford, Ontario (2006 pop. 124,607) are in the Brant/Norfolk Deanery of the Archdeaconery of Brant/Norfolk/Oxford in the Diocese of Huron.
The Ven. Dr. Jim Sutton, Rector of St. Mark's Church, Brantford, is the Archdeacon.
Rev Heather Robinson, Rector of St. James' on-the-Hill Church, Brantford, is the regional dean for Brant/Norfolk.

The present Grace Church building was constructed in 1856, replacing a white frame building was erected in 1832. It cost $22,000 with a seating capacity of 900. St James' on-the-Hill Church132 Grand Street, Brantford, OntarioRector: The Rev'd Heather Robinson St James began as a mission of Grace Church Brantford in 1881. In 1887, along with St Paul's, Holmedale, it became a separate parish. The name St James' was chosen in memory of Canon James Usher a thirty year friend to the parish. In 1910 Dr. Egerton Griffin donated the present site for church construction. By March 1918, the parish had become self-supporting. On March 13, 1920 the present building was dedicated by Archbishop Williams. During the great depression, in 1933, it became aligned with St Paul's again. After the war St James' was again self-supporting. In 1950 a new Rectory was built to replace the rectory bought in 1910. More on St James' On-the-Hill Anglican Church |
