The congregations of Holy Trinity, Brantford and Holy Trinty, Burford are roughly the same size and are in a joint charge. The parish is in the Deanery of Brant/Norfolk in the Diocese of Huron. Burford is about 20 km west of Brantford. Holy Trinity, Brantford was established in 1903.
The parish also includes St Paul's, H.M. Chapel of the Mohawks (shown right), Mohawk St., Brantford. It was the first Protestant church in Ontario, built by the Crown for the Mohawks of the Six Nations Iroquois who settled there in 1794. It was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1981. There are occasional services. |
